What do you want to do or sell?

What type of business do you want to open? Whom is it targeted? How will your product(s) or service(s) be sold or delivered? What are the upfront costs associated with opening this type of business? Long term costs? Is it homebased, facility based or online?

This is the research and homework you can do before we meet for the first time. Know as much about what you would like to accomplish as possible.

So where and who do you think is your market? Let's find out. During our initial meeting we will discuss how we can utilize one of our partners such as the Woltemade Center at Ohio Wesleyan University to conduct a low cost or free market study to make sure there is a market or find your market. Perhaps the market is already saturated or, perhaps it is untouched. It is best to find these things out before going any further.

The Delaware County District Library's Business Gateway also hosts a ton of resources such as Gale's Demographics Now where you can search these expensive resources for information such as spending habits for FREE!
